St Mary Magdalene, East Ham Church - The church viewed from the northeast, on a rather wet day. The
most striking feature of this church must surely be the apsidal chancel.

St Mary Magdalene, East Ham Church - Here we see St Mary Magdalene surrounded by just a small part
of her 9.5 acres of churchyard. This was only recently closed to burials, and is
now maintained by Newham Council as a nature reserve.

Miscellaneous Images

St Mary Magdalene, East Ham Church - This is one of two 'prickers' dated 1805. These were once used
by the churchwardens to 'prick' and thus wake up any members of the congregation
that had dozed off. Two also survive at Little Maplestead.
